After devastating earthquake in 2001 in Kutch (Anjar), which witnessed the tragedy of 465 school children in Anjar, the Jamiat Children Village was erected for orphans: residential + day schools.
It is now home of orphans and deprived children & center of education for educationally backward Muslim community in the region.
